Soms denk je, wanneer houd het weer eens op....na het verlies van onze Isis kregen we vandaag het trieste bericht dat Gentle Zoe moest inslapen vanwege een bottumor...precies op dat moment waren we samen met Elly en Hans om Jasha te bezoeken nadat bij hem een voorpoot is geamputeerd na precies dezelfde diagnose!! wat een ellendige dag....je gelooft toch bijna niet dat 2 honden op precies op hetzelfde tijdstip precies dezelfde ziekte hebben!! Gelukkig lijkt het erop dat Jasha nog wat tijd heeft...
We willen Marcel en Indra heel veel sterkte wensen met het verlies van hun ''ouwe heks'' Zoe die bijna 14 jaar werd...het is zo ontzettend moeilijk om te besluiten wanneer het ''genoeg'' is...14 jaar is een prachtige leeftijd en langer uitstel had een lijdensweg geworden...ze had zoveel pijn...
Elly en Hans heel veel sterkte met de revalidatie van Jash en we hebben diep respect voor jullie beslissing Jasha deze extra tijd te geven, we hopen dat hij nog lang bij jullie zal zijn....ook gaan onze gedachten uit naar Pat in Amerika die vecht voor het leven van haar zo geliefde NouNou die ernstig ziek is vanwege nierfalen....

Sometimes you get the feeling dat bad news never ends....this time of the year suppose to be a nice time of holiday and happiness...so far we only recieved sadness....After letting our dearest Isis go to the bridge we got the message of Jasha having bonecancer....he was diagnosticed 2 weeks ago and today our worsed nightmare came true..his weak leg broke almost by itself and Elly and Hans had to rush in their decision what to do now, we have deep respect for them deciding to let the vet amputate the sick leg to give Jasha all time possible.
After driving home from the vet we got the message that Marcel and Indra's old girl Gentle Zoe had to be put asleep also diagnosticed with bonecancer...how can this happen the same day....?? we feel so so sad...
Our thoughts are also with our dear friend Pat in America worries sick about her beloved NouNou du Bois du Tot having kidney failure..
We really need some good news now......

Our Isis was sick for longer time allready but I decided as long as she had joy in life to wait and see...her body slowly fainted away but her mind was still going strong..she even enjoyed the recently fallen snow in her own way with the other dogs and acted like nothing was wrong..
The day after Chirstmas she wasn't able to stand up anymore...we tried to help her but nothing worked...now I could finally find peace in this heartbreaking decision....we let her go...
Dearest Isis, you will never be forgotten, we see you back in your crazy daughter Kismet and your other kids..you were really very special..with you coming into my life everything changed.. a dog like you is everybodies dream...
R.I.P now you can join your old friends...
